Enable URL Rewriting in Joomla



To enable URL rewriting in Joomla:
 
In "Global Configuration"
 
Select "Yes" for "Use URL Rewriting"
 
Click "Save"
 
Go to you File Manager or use an FTP client and find the file "web.config.txt" in the root of your Joomla installation and rename it to "web.config".
