Service Location: US, East Coast - All Services
Impact: None, this is an advisory only.

Dear Customers,

Please note that our Data Center location in Lenoir, North Carolina in the East Coast US is currently under extreme weather warning between Friday, September 14, 2018, until Monday, September 17, 2018. Our Datacenter Operations team on-site has prepared for the storm and will continue to track the path of the storm and monitor its effect on our service area.

We began preparations for the Hurricane yesterday by filling the generator fuel tanks as well as the reserve tanks to full. The generators can run for 48 hours on a full tank. We have arrangements in place that in the event of extended power outage the fuel tanks will be refueled after a designated amount of time.

Network fibers into the building are underground and come from two different paths from two different facilities, one located in Charlotte, North Carolina and another located in Atlanta, Georgia. While the Charlotte region is expected to face some impact from the Hurricane the Atlanta region is not currently anticipated to have any effect from the Hurricane.

Our support team will remain online and available as usual due to our global staff presence. We are hoping for the best and are preparing for the worst.

We are also posting this advisory on our status page and will provide updates as they become available.

Best,
Benjamin Pritchett
